A butane hash oil explosion blew out a window at the Broker Inn at 30th and Baseline in Boulder early Wednesday morning, police said.

Now police are looking for the two people who were staying in the hotel room.

There were multiple fire trucks and police vehicles outside the hotel, which is near the University of Colorado-Boulder dorms called Williams Village. The dorms are a few blocks from the main campus.

A third-floor window was shattered and broken glass could be seen in the parking lot. Denver7 Photojournalist Daryl Orr reported the explosion happened in room 307.

Several people were standing outside wrapped in blankets and two buses were available for people to wait in to stay warm.

People were allowed to return to their rooms at about 7 a.m.

Boulder Police said there were no major injuries from the explosion.

We have a crew at the scene following this developing story.
