Police: Woman shot during attempted robbery at ATM in Wheat Ridge; suspect at large

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. – Police are looking for a suspect who shot a woman during a robbery at an ATM in Wheat Ridge early Wednesday.

Police said the robbery occurred at a Chase Bank ATM at 38th and Wadsworth around 5 a.m.

The victim is being treated for a shoulder injury at an area hospital.

Police said the suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, is still on the loose. He is described as a black man in his 40s, wearing all black clothing and riding a bike.
