LITTLETON, Colo. - A 29-year-old transient has been arrested and accused of auto theft, burglarizing a Littleton home and stealing packages from porches in the neighborhood, police said Wednesday.
On March 5, a 19-year-old woman called 911 to report a burglar in her family's home in the 2400 block of West Jamison Way, police said.
Officers quickly arrived and surrounded the house. They arrested a man as he came out the back door of the home.
Police identified the suspect as Kristopher Lee Gregg, a transient. Officers found a nearby car linked to Gregg and discovered it had been stolen, police said.
Inside the car, police said they found packages that appeared to have been stolen from the porches of houses in the neighborhood.
Gregg was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Center on investigation of burglary, aggravated motor vehicle theft and theft. His bond is set at $60,500.
