DENVER – Police embarked on a manhunt late Thursday after a man allegedly hit two women with his car in the parking lot of Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The circumstances surrounding the crash weren’t clear, but police said the man took off on foot after hitting the women with his car in the lower south lot.
One woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The other woman wasn’t hurt.
Police called in K-9 units to search for the suspect and officers later found the man after he fell down a ravine. Firefighters rescued the suspect from the ravine and he was taken to the hospital.
Police said their investigation is ongoing.
