DENVER - Three young men were caught on camera trying to use a stolen debit card, and police are asking for the public's help in identifying them.
The debit card was stolen when the suspects burglarized a home on March 26, according to Denver police. The suspects then tried to use the card at a Bradley gas station and at the Foot Locker on W. Alameda Ave. in Denver. Surveillance video shows the suspects, two white males with short, dark hair, and a third male who is facing away from the camera wearing a green t-shirt.
One of the males was wearing a long-sleeve, dark striped shirt and khaki-colored pants. Another was wearing a blue t-shirt with a wing design across the chest. He was also wearing a black stocking hat in one image that appears to be in the Foot Locker.
Anyone with information about these suspects is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867) or to submit the information on the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers mobile app. All tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for an award of up to $2,000.
