Police say arrest made in Castle Rock stabbing along East Plum Creek Trail

Abraham Little charged with attempted murder

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - Authorities in Castle Rock said they made an arrest in a stabbing along East Plum Creek Trail Sunday.

Abraham Little, 28, was booked at the Douglas County Detention Center on first-degree charges of attempted murder and assault, according to Castle Rock Police.

Detectives have determined that the victim and the suspect are homeless and were living in a tent in the field behind 123 S. Wilcox St. The two had been drinking and began arguing before the stabbing occurred. A passerby called 911 after finding the victim on the trail. 

Officers said the 29-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times and was transported to an area hospital where he remains in serious condition. His name is not being released.
