Police: Man stabbed across the street from Community Hospital in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Police in Grand Junction are investigating a stabbing that happened across the street from Community Hospital on Tuesday morning.

Police said the stabbing happened at 1140 Walnut Avenue at 3 a.m.

The 22-year-old victim walked across the street to the hospital for treatment, police said. The man was then transferred to St. Mary's Hospital.

Police said the injury did not appear to be life threatening.

Police did not release any information about a possible suspect.
