Police looking for missing Wisconsin teen, Breanne Gomez, after police chase, vehicle stolen

Diabetic teen may be headed to California

WELD COUNTY, Colo. - Law enforcement officers across Colorado are on the lookout for a 15-year-old runaway girl from Wisconsin who they say has been involved in a Colorado crime spree involving a police chase and a stolen vehicle.

Breanna Gomez ran away on Monday evening from Eau Claire, Wisc., according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

CBI said Gomez was in a stolen vehicle that was chased Thursday night by Washington and Morgan County authorities.

The stolen vehicle was found abandoned and a minivan was reported stolen in Roggen, Colo.

Authorities have issued an alert for Gomez because she is a diabetic who may have seizures without her medications. Her medications were found in the vehicle that was abandoned.

Gomez is caucasian with black hair. She is 5 feet 6 inches talll and weighs 150 pounds.

Authorities believe she is with her boyfriend, Spencer Linville, 16, and two other teenagers including Blake Bergeron, 18. The third teenager's name was not released.

CBI said the teens are likely in a light blue, Chrysler Town & Country minivan with Colorado license plate 876 WZS.

Gomez's grandfather told 7NEWS that his granddaughter is very diabetic and that she needs her medication.

"She will die if she doesn't have it," Jerry Carpenter told 7NEWS.

Carpenter said he doesn't think Gomez knows anyone in Colorado.

Weld County officials said the group may be heading for Riverside, Calif.

Carpenter said Gomez had recently been released from juvenile detention. He said she was wearing an ankle monitor, but she didn't charge it. Authorities said it stopped transmitting Dec. 18 or 19.

"We love her to death, we just want to help her," said Carpenter.
