DENVER - Police say an 11-year-old Denver boy missing since Monday was found safe in Sheridan Tuesday morning after citizens spotted him and alerted police.
Denver Police said via Twitter at 10:25 a.m. that Jayden Williamson-Brown appeared to be unharmed. The investigation into the boy's disappearance was ongoing.
Jayden disappeared from his family's home in the 1100 block of Decatur Street at about 12:30 p.m. Monday. That's near Fairview Elementary School and Rude Park.
Sheridan is about 8 miles south of the area where Jayden disappeared.
Denver Police said the boy's family reported the child missing about 11 hours later at 11:30 p.m.
Williamson-Brown is 4-feel-11 and weighs 70 to 80 pounds. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, red shorts and sandals.
