Police looking for Jeep Liberty in Denver hit-and-run ourside Monroe Elementary School, 2 hurt

DENVER - Denver Police are looking for a Jeep Liberty in what's being called an aggravated assault and hit-and-run that left two people hurt, one of them seriously.

The pedestrians were in the 3400 block of West Virginia, in front of Monroe Elementary School, when they were hit Friday morning.

Police said no students were involved.

Officers are looking for a silver 2004 Jeep Liberty with Colorado license plate 416-ZMR.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
