DENVER - Police have found a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident that sent a pedestrian to the hospital Saturday night.
The 2001 Chevrolet Impala with a South Dakota license plate was found in Arvada, according to Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
Jackson tells 7NEWS the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Northbound Federal was closed Saturday night, between West Howard Place and West Holden Place for about an hour as police were investigating the accident.
