AURORA, Colo. - Three people were shot at a house in Aurora Saturday night, police said.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired at a home near East 23rd Avenue and Peoria Street around 11:30 p.m.
Investigators said they believe a party at the house spilled out onto the front lawn but don't know what led up to the shooting.
All three victims ran away but police caught up with them and they were transported to the hospital for treatment. Police said all three had “superficial wounds” to their lower bodies, and one was grazed on the upper body. They are all expected to survive.
Detectives interviewed witnesses and said they believed the shooter had run away.
