ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- Two Adams County school are on lockout due to nearby police activity.
A school district spokesperson said STEM Launch at 9450 North Pecos Street and Federal Heights Elementary were put on lockout around 2 p.m. Thursday.
Police activity at West 96th Avenue and Zuni Street prompted the schools to take these safety measures, the spokesperson said. Details about the police incident are not known.
