Police are trying to identify a man in a white van who tried to grab a 13-year-old child in Denver
Denver police say a man driving this white van, captured by a surveillance camera, tried to grab a 13-year-old child in an alley between the 3300 blocks of York and Gaylord streets on 9/17/2013.

DENVER - Denver police are trying to identify a man who tried to grab a 13 year old and pull the child into a van on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened just after 4 p.m. in an alley between the 3300 blocks of York and Gaylord streets, police said.
The 13-year-old child was walking home from school when a man driving a white van stopped and asked the teen some questions, police said. The man then got out of van and attempted to grab the child.
The teen ran away and reported the incident to police. Police did not release the teen's gender.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, who is between 30 and 35 years old. He stands about 5-feet-9-inches tall and has short black hair that is longer in front. The man was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans.
Police released a surveillance photo of the van.

Callers can remain anonymous and a reward of up to $2,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and charging of the man responsible for this crime.
