Plow involved in crash on Highway 40

A plow truck and another vehicle collided in the snow on Highway 40 west of Empire Sunday morning, Colorado State Patrol confirms.
Trooper Josh Lewis said the crash caused serious damage to the side of one vehicle and seriously injured one person, who was taken to the hospital.
Lewis said the accident was reported around 6:40 a.m. near mile marker 249 but the response was significantly delayed due to the weather.
