Even though the plane flipped, a pilot walked away after an emergency landing in Arapahoe County.

It happened Sunday night around 7:52 p.m.

The pilot had some type of mechanical issue and landed in a wheat field, about two miles south Interstate 70 and a mile east of County Road 157, according to Strasburg Fire Protection chief Gene Viner.

Viner said the plane flipped on landing.

No one was hurt.
