DENVER — Although he's retired from the league and has moved away from Colorado, Peyton Manning will forever be remembered as the quarterback of the Broncos during the team's run to Super Bowl 50.

In 2018, Manning will be enshrined in the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame as it inducts six new members into its class of 2018.

Manning, who is recognized as a 14-time Pro Bowl quarterback, a 14-time team captain, the all-time touchdown passing quarterback and all-time pass leader, will be notably be joined by Rashaan Salaam, known as the only Heisman Trophy winner from a Colorado-based school.

Salaam took the trophy in 1994, and went on to play in the NFL as a runningback for a short time.

Salaam again made headlines when he took his life in Boulder on Dec. 5.

The two sports figures will also be joined by Joe Glenn, a coach, Sam Pagano, a coach, Tracy Hill, a prolific basketball player and Alex Burl, an athlete and coach.
