DENVER - A man died after stumbling and falling in front of an oncoming light rail train in Denver early Wednesday morning, authorities say.
Denver police said the man fell into the path of the RTD light rail train at 10th and Osage just before 5 a.m. Wednesday.. Police said they do not suspect foul play.
The man was pronounced dead at 12:28 p.m. at Denver Health Medical Center, said Michelle Weiss-Samaras, Denver medical examiner's director of operations.
RTD issued a statement calling it a "train passenger accident."
Denver police traffic investigators are conducting an investigation.
