Pedestrians injured in crash in Englewood at Hampden & Elati

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Three people standing on a corner in Englewood on Thursday morning were hit by a careening vehicle.

Two vehicles collided around 7:20 a.m. at Hampden Avenue and Elati Street in Englewood.

Witnesses said a Jeep Grand Cherokee involved in the crash was knocked into three people on the corner.

A 26-year-old man, a 40-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were injured.

All three were taken to local hospitals. There's no word yet on their conditions.

Police are still investigating the crash to determine if anyone should be ticketed.
