DENVER - Denver police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian accident at South Federal Boulevard near West Bayaud Avenue.
The call came in at 4:24 p.m., according to Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez. The victim was hit crossing in mid-block between West Bayaud and West Ellsworth, police said.
Lopez said the driver stopped and is co-operating with the investigation.
The identity of the victim has not been released but police said he is a 59-year-old man.
