Pedestrian hurt after being hit by RTD light rail train

DENVER - A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Sunday after police said he was hit by a RTD light rail train.
The pedestrian was hit at 27th and Welton streets around 12:10 p.m., said Denver police spokesman John White.
White did not have specifics on how the pedestrian was hit.
The victim's injuries are being called serious.
