Aurora intersection reopens after pedestrian hit crossing at Iliff and Peoria

AURORA, Colo. - Aurora police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured.

The crash happened around 4:45 a.m. near South Peoria Street and East Iliff Avenue.

Aurora Police told 7NEWS the pedestrian was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Officers did not release the victim's name or gender.

Police said the driver stopped at the scene, but they did not yet know if the driver would be ticketed.

The intersection was closed for 3 hours while officers investigated.
