FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. - A man was killed when he struck by two vehicles Saturday night in Federal Heights.
Federal Heights police said the 49-year-old man was crossing Federal Boulevard by West 90th Avenue at about 9 p.m. when he was hit by a turning vehicle.
After getting struck by the initial car, police said the man was hit by another vehicle going north on Federal.
Both vehicles stopped and the drivers are cooperating with police. Investigators said they don't believe drugs or alcohol was a factor with either driver. However, police said they are awaiting toxicology reports on the pedestrian.
Police said the man was in the crosswalk, but he was crossing the street on a red light.
