Pedestrian dies after being hit by vehicle in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood

DENVER -- A pedestrian was struck and killed in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Denver Monday evening.

A preliminary investigation reveals the man was crossing against the traffic light at East 11th Avenue and Grant Street when he was struck. The vehicle stayed on scene.

Police said no one has been cited for the incident yet. The victim’s identity has not been released.
