Passenger injured when school bus rolls near Delta County- Mesa County line

MESA COUNTY, Colo. - A woman riding on a school bus was injured Tuesday when the bus rolled on a snowy highway in western Colorado.

The school bus rolled on Highway 50 just south of the Mesa County and Delta County line.

When state troopers arrived, they found the bus on its side.

No children were on the bus, but an adult passenger had minor-to-moderate injuries, according to Trooper Nate Reid with the Colorado State Patrol.

Reid did not know if the bus driver was hurt.

Reid said there was a lot of snow in the area, but the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
