Parker makes list of best places to trick-or-treat in the country

PARKER, Colo. -- As Halloween approaches, kids are making plans for that night. The objective: get the most amount of candy by Nov. 1 -- and heading to Parker might help achieve that goal.

Parker made Nextdoor.com's 2016 Best Cities for Treats. The Douglas County town ranked #5 on the list.

The site analyzed data from neighborhoods that use the platform’s annual Treat Map feature to find the best cities for treats in the country.
