DENVER - Four-hundred feet straight down.
That's how far over 100 people are going to raise money for cancer Friday and Saturday. They're rappelling off the building at 1625 Broadway in Denver starting at noon.
Their adventurous leap off the 32-story building is expected to raise over $300,000 for Cancer League of Colorado, which uses the money for research and patient services within the state. Last year's edition of the event raised about $250,000.
In order to participate, brave souls had to raise a minimum of $1,000 for the charity.
7NEWS Reporter Russell Haythorn was an emcee for the event on Friday.
