OSHA probes workplace death in Wellington after man killed by beam

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — A federal agency is investigating a fatal workplace accident at a Wellington steel fabrication facility.

The Coloradoan reported Monday that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is looking into the death of William J. Williams at Front Range Steel last week.

Williams was reportedly impaled by a beam Sept. 6. He was pronounced dead at Medical Center of the Rockies that day.

The Coloradoan says no one witnessed the accident.
