A motorcyclist died and his passenger was injured after reportedly losing control while making the turn onto Interstate 25 from 20th Street.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday when a motorcycle hit the bridge barrier.
The driver and passenger were thrown from the bike and flew off the overpass, a Denver Police officer told Denver7 reporter Daryl Orr.
The driver did not survive. The female passenger was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of the Interstate at 20th Street until about 3:30 a.m.
