DENVER - A Denver police officer is facing charges of driving while intoxicated after he was accused of causing a rollover crash on Interstate 25 while he was off duty.
Jessie Espinoza is accused of sideswiping a sport-utility vehicle, which swerved into a concrete barrier and rolled onto its roof on Sunday.
According to the Denver Post, three people inside the SUV were not seriously injured.
Espinoza has been taken off patrol duty while a criminal investigation continues.
