Murder suspect Bionca Rogers refuses extradition to Colorado Springs in Grant Frazier's death

LINN COUNTY, Iowa - The woman arrested in the murder of a Colorado Springs man is refusing extradition back to Colorado, according to the Press-Citizen.

Grant Frazier, 61, and Bionca Rogers, 21, disappeared Feb. 16.

Frazier's body was found Tuesday in a car in a parking lot in Jasper County, Iowa. He died from blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds, authorities said.

The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner ruled that Frazier's death was a homicide, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Rogers surrendered to police in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, early Wednesday for investigation of first-degree murder.

The Press Citizen said Rogers is from Iowa City and has faced charges in the past of assault causing bodily injury, disorderly conduct charges, domestic abuse assault and interference with official acts causing bodily injury after allegedly fleeing from police escorting her to jail.

Colorado Springs are still investigating Frazier's murder and said, "it has not yet been determined if Ms. Rogers acted alone."
