DENVER - Two armed robberies were reported within 5 minutes in Denver's Cheesman Park neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
The first holdup occurred at 4:03 a.m. near E. 11th Avenue and York Street, according to the Denver Police Department.
The second happened at 4:07 a.m. near 11th and Marion Street. The victim walked to a nearby store for help, said Raquel Lopez with Denver Police.
A weapon was involved in each incident but no one was hurt, Lopez said.
In one case, the victim(s) reported being held up by two men. In the other case, the victim(s) said there were three men involved.
