Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash Saturday night in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. - A motorcyclist is in critical condition with severe injuries after a crash late Saturday night accident in Aurora.
Around 11:06 p.m., the motorcyclist was driving eastbound on Smoky Hill Road, just west of South Ottawa Place, when he missed a curve and struck the raised median.
The motorcycle tumbled, throwing the rider, according to Aurora police.
The rider was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. He was not wearing a helmet.
Police believe that speeding and alcohol were suspected on the crash.
Officers have not released the name of the rider at this time.
