Denver motorcycle police officer hit by suspected drunk driver on northbound I-25 in Denver Tuesday

DENVER - A Denver police motorcycle officer was hit by a suspected drunk driver on northbound Interstate 25 Tuesday morning, according to spokeswoman Raquel Lopez.
The officer was hit at about 5 a.m. near the Alameda Avenue exit.
The officer was hurt, but not seriously injured, Lopez said. The officer was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The right two lanes of northbound I-25 were blocked until about 6:15 a.m.
