PUEBLO, Colo. - Authorities say a woman and her 3-year-old son died during an apartment fire in Pueblo on Christmas Day.
According to the Pueblo Chieftain, (http://goo.gl/0qK1uf) police say it's possible the fire started because drugs were being made or used in the apartment, but authorities emphasized the investigation is continuing.
The fire was reported at 4:36 a.m. Wednesday and firefighters were able to contain it in about an hour. In one apartment lived a family of four --- a mother, her two children, and a grandmother.
The deceased were identified as 25-year-old Natasha Fiore and her son Eliza Pino. The grandmother is in critical condition, and the other child, who is 5, has been airlifted to a Colorado Springs hospital.
People in two other apartments that were on fire made it out safely.
