More than $5,000 worth of semiautomatic rifles stolen from Castle Rock gun store, police say

Police ask public to help ID 2 suspects

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - Castle Rock Police are asking the public help to identify two burglars who stole more than $5,000 in semiautomatic sporting rifles from DCF Guns.

The store's security system alerted police about a break-in around midnight Thursday. Arriving officers found a window had been pried open and several rifles were missing from the store, located at 1155 Park St. in downtown Castle Rock.

Police said the two burglary suspects are white men who were last seen driving a dark-colored sedan. Police on Friday released surveillance photos and video of the suspects inside the store.

Castle Rock Police are working with agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on the investigation.
