MORRISON, Colo. — Drivers and spectators are filling Bandimere Speedway this weekend for the 38th annual Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals. This marks the first race of the mid-summer "Western Swing" in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.
Drivers will be competing in four categories, including Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle. Drivers will speed up the track at speeds of more than 300 mph to earn points leading to the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series world championships.
