DENVER -- Tighten your swim wear, because Elitch Gardens has just announced a new attraction with a name that promises a wardrobe malfunction in a certain area.
Mega Wedgie will be sliding into the Denver theme park this summer. The new water attraction is actually three speed slides affixed to a six-story tower. A press release says riders will reach speeds of 40 mph before hitting the bottom.
The Mega Wedgie slide is part of the park’s $4 million capital improvement program, which includes the new Star Flyer ride set to open this summer.
The water park opens May 27.
