Masked men carry handguns during robbery of Boulder liquor store

Cops ask for help identifying the suspects

BOULDER, Colo. - Two masked suspects carried handguns during the robbery of a Boulder liquor store Monday. Now, Boulder police are asking the public to help identify the suspects.

The two men entered Boulder Beer and Liquor Emporium at 4700 Table Mesa Dr. at 10:17 p.m. They were both wearing black clothing, black gloves and had their faces covered.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley says the suspects stole money and then ran east from the store.

The first suspect is described as a thin, 6-foot tall white male. He has "blondish" hair that may be curly, a pale complexion and may also have freckles. He wore a black knit cap, black shoes with white soles and a colored bandana over his face.

The second suspect is a Hispanic or light-skinned black male. He is also thin, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 tall. He has brown eyes and was wearing a black ski mask during the robbery.
