DENVER - Marijuana business owners are meeting Thursday at the first Colorado Cannabis Summit in Denver.
The one-day summit features speakers and expert panels focused on product testing and safety, regulations and taxes, security and new technology. Also up for discussion: best practices for human resources, marketing and social media.
"This summit is designed to facilitate discussions, sharing of ideas and innovation in design and technology," states event producer Stan Wagner.
Exhibitors will showcase the latest products and technologies designed to reduce operating cost and increase yields.
"Indoor agriculture, lighting, plant science, are just a few of the spin-off technologies we see expanding outside of the cannabis industry," said Tae Darnell with Surna. Surna is the title sponsor of the summit.
