DENVER (AP) — The last person of seven people caught in the raid of an illegal marijuana growing operation in Colorado has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports Richard Samples was sentenced on Tuesday after he and six others were caught in March 2016. The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office and other authorities raided five homes and seized 1,900 marijuana plants with a street value of approximately $7.5 million.

Samples received a longer sentence than most of the other defendants because he has a history of committing crimes.

The defendants pleaded guilty to conspiring to manufacture marijuana and possess it with the intent of distributing it.
