GOLDEN, Colo. - Golden police are investigating the discovery of a body on South Rooney Road, between Colfax Avenue and Interstate 70.
Golden Police Detective Daryl Hollingsworth said the body is that of a male and foul play is suspected. The body appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds, police said, but that will be have to be confirmed through an autopsy.
The body was reported just before 5:58 p.m.by a man flying a radio-controlled airplane.
Investigators were still at the location four hours later, looking for evidence.
