Man sought for Greeley burglaries, robbery

GREELEY, Colo. - Greeley Police are looking for Michael A. Rogers, 20, in connection with several burglaries in the 800 block of 17th Street during the weekend of Jan. 4. 

Additionally, police said that three juveniles have been identified as being involved in the  burglaries. One of the juveniles has been arrested, while charges are pending against the other two.

On Dec. 1, 2013, the assault and robbery of a lone male occurred in the area of 13th Avenue and 15th Street. The victim was walking home from downtown Greeley shortly after midnight, when he was approached by two individuals, assaulted, and robbed of his wallet.

An arrest warrant has been obtained for Rogers for his role in the crime. The second person involved, Mitchell Nyberg, has already been arrested. 

The two crimes are connected only by the suspect, Rogers, in both cases.  Police did not release a mugshot or description of the suspect.
