Arrest made in deadly shooting at Isle Casino Hotel in Black Hawk

BLACK HAWK, Colo. - Black Hawk Police have made an arrest after a man was shot to death at the Isle Hotel in Black Hawk early Tuesday morning. 

Someone called 911 at 5:57 a.m., on Tuesday, and said a shot had been fired in a hotel room.

When officers arrived, they said they found a 26-year-old man with a fatal gunshot wound. 

The victim of the shooting was later identified as Tony Velasquez, of Thornton, Colo.  

Police said an acquaintance, Colleen Marie Loris, 43, of Denver, was booked into the Gilpin County Jail late Tuesday afternoon for investigation of second-degree murder and other charges related to the shooting. 

The investigation is continuing and police said they would release no further information at this time.
