DENVER - Denver police are looking for two suspects in the late-night shooting of a man in the Capitol Hill area.

Police said the man was shot in an alley between Pennsylvania and Pearl streets at about 11 p.m., near Colfax Avenue.

The man made his way to a corner grocery where police were called.  Scanner traffic indicated the victim was shot in the leg.

Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said the victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Police did not release descriptions of the suspects.
