Victim's legs injured by single gunshot

NORTHGLENN, Colo. - Police are searching for a man and a woman involved in a shooting at a park in Northglenn.

The man was shot at E.B. Rains Park located on Community Center Drive around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The victim went to the emergency room at North Suburban Medical Center Saturday morning with a single gunshot wound that injured both his legs, according to the Northglenn Police Department.

Police say the shooting is being investigated as an attempted murder.

Investigators believe he was shot with handgun but couldn't say what type.

The shooter is described as Hispanic, approximately 20 years old, who is about 5-feet-9 inches tall, with a thin build, dark hair and a goatee. He was wearing a dark blue plaid hoodie and black pants.

A white woman was with the gunman. She is described as 20 years old, 5-feet-7-inches tall, with a chubby build, and long hair that was dyed pink or blonde with brown highlights and tips. She was wearing a bright neon pink shirt and light blue jeans.
