Man enjoys lollipop amid bank robbery at branch in Jefferson County

DENVER — Jefferson County authorities are on the lookout for a bank robber with a sweet tooth.

Security camera images show a man with what appears to be a lollipop rob a Key Bank at 7300 West Chatfield Avenue around 12:15 Thursday.

The man handed a note to the teller that stated he was armed and wanted to make a withdrawal. No weapon was seen during the robbery. He took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Deputies describe the man as a balding white male in his mid-20s. He had a couple of days worth of facial hair growth and was wearing dark sunglasses.
