Man arrested in connection with early Sunday morning shooting in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police arrested a man in connection with an early Sunday morning shooting in a parking lot.

Officers responded to the shooting at 460 North Murray Boulevard around 1:31 a.m.

As police arrived, they found a man injured with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Colorado Springs Police.

Soon after, police arrested 24-year-old Raoul Jones.

Multiple firearms and several shell casing were recovered at the scene.

Three other businesses in the area and several parked vehicles, were damaged during the shooting but there were no injuries reported.
