DENVER - A man accused of trying to kidnap a 13-year-old girl in Denver Thursday was arrested but bonded out within two days.
The girl's mother, who did not want to be identified, said a 50-year-old man tried to pull the teen into a truck near Morrison Road and Perry Street in Denver.
After a long struggle the teen was able to break free, her mother told 7NEWS.
The girl was able to give investigators a license plate number and a complete physical description of the man, according to her mother.
Police arrested Alonzo Medina Olivas at his home Thursday on a charge of attempted second degree kidnapping.
Olivas' bond was set at $10,000 and he bonded out of the Denver Jail on Saturday morning.
