LONGMONT, Colo. - Authorities in Boulder County say they are searching for a missing Longmont woman.
Jessica Lynn Shackelford, 31, left her home in the 12900 block of Hillcrest Drive on foot at 8 p.m. Saturday, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said she and her husband had an argument prior to her leaving the residence, and that Shackelford has not been heard from since she left.
"She may have been upset at me, but she would not leave her children," said Austin Shackelford, Jessica's husband. "We just want to know she is OK."
She was last known to be at a business in the 2200 block of Main Street in Longmont at about 8:40 p.m. on that same evening.
Her family said it is unusual for Shackelford to be out of contact with them for this length of time.
"We are concerned because she has never left home like this before," said Commander Heidi Prentup with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. "She could have run into someone who did something bad, or she could have gone to a friend's house. We just need to know if she's OK."
Pentup said they had searched the area she was last seen with dogs Monday morning, and they were canvassing local hotels and motels with her photograph.
Shackelford is described as white, 5-feet-8-inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds. She has black hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants with Skecher brand shoes and possibly a gray beanie cap with a white horizontal stripe.
